Local Missions
God has placed us in this community for a reason, and there's missional opportunity right here, all around us! So, here are a few ways we can begin to fulfill the Great Commission in our area:
Baja Build
Communicating the love and care of Christ by building homes for hard-working families living in the worst conditions in Maneadero
Baja Ed
Providing educational workshops and tutoring support for the community of Maneadero (where we build homes) in order to help families break free from cyclical poverty and know the love of Jesus
Bay Crest
A skilled nursing facility where we can pray, converse, read Scripture, sing, and evangelize with residents who often feel lonely and abandoned.
ChatLab
Helping international friends to find community in the U.S. through food, conversation, and super fun events! Contact sbccchatlab@gmail.com to get involved!
Disaster Relief
Sending teams through EFCA Crisis Response and Samaritan’s Purse to help communities in the U.S. recover from floods, fires, hurricanes, and earthquakes, while sharing the compassion of Christ in word and action
