Children and Families

Hey parents!

Welcome to our Children’s Ministry at SBCC. KidzKrew serves ages 3 months old through 5th grade.

Our mission is to help children love Jesus, His Word and others. Teachers and helpers work together to build a Godly foundation through Bible lessons, worship, and small group discussion. KidzKrew Ministry serves three month olds to fifth graders. We have classrooms for infants, toddlers, two year olds, three year olds, four year olds, and kindergarten through fifth grade. We provide specialized support for children in the classroom with special needs by a team of trained and experienced SBCC members.

Elementary classes (K-5) are open at both our 9:00am and 11:00am services.

Preschool classes (2-4 years old) are open at our 9:00am and 11:00am services

Nursery (3 months to 2 years old) is open at our 9:00am service only.

If you have kids and want to know what to expect from a typical Sunday, let's walk you through it!

Pre-registration is no longer required for any of our KidzKrew classes. This is subject to change. Please continue checking our website for updates or let us know if you'd like to be on our parent email list!

Please arrive with ample time for parking and check-in. Check-in will begin 20 minutes before service.

Families will be asked to not touch the iPad and allow volunteers to assist with check-in. Please have the same parent drop off and pick-up to limit the number of people in our hallways. Children will be encouraged to sanitize their hands as they enter the classroom.

If your child needs to bring a water bottle, please clearly label it with his/her name and leave it just inside the classroom. Snacks will not be given in the classroom at this time.

We still are in need of servants in both our elementary and preschool classrooms at both Sunday services. If you are comfortable returning to in person services, would you please consider volunteering in one of our classrooms? To start the process please fill out the form below and we’ll connect with you!

If you have any questions, please email Mandy.

SBCC Kidz Onlline

Welcome parents of infants and toddlers! Our purpose is to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which children will be cared for by experienced and loving members of the SBCC family. This allows parents to relax and participate in worship services. We seek to impart the love of Christ to these little ones through loving expressions of care, patience, and compassion. Our infant room provides care for those 3 months old to walking and the toddler room is for those walking until their 2nd birthday!

Our infant room is for children 3 months old until they are walking! It is equipped with age appropriate toys as well as swings, bouncer seats, rocking chairs and a bassinet to keep your baby happy while you attend service. Ratio in this room will be 2 infants to 1 adult.

Our toddler rooms is for those who are walking until they turn 2 years old. Age appropriate toys and activities are rotated weekly. Ratio in this room will be 3 toddlers to 1 adult.

Teachers have been trained to provide a safe, loving and interesting environment for babies and toddlers to freely play and begin to experience the love of Jesus.

Puffs and water will be offered in the toddler room only with parent permission. Bottles will be given upon parent request.

All surfaces will be sprayed with a long-lasting disinfectant after each service. Toys will be disinfected after each use as well.

Well baby policy

We want to provide a healthy environment in our nursery, so we ask all parents to keep their babies at home if they have observed any of the following within the past 24 hours: fever, green or yellow runny nose or discharge around the eyes, excessive coughing, diarrhea or vomiting
