1) Prior to arrival, please share with your child about the change in classroom, teachers and curriculum. Share your excitement and keep it positive!
2) Arrive Early! Please arrive with ample time for parking and to find the classroom. Check-in will begin 20 minutes before service.
3) Our check-in team can’t wait to meet you! We use an electronic check-in system and will ask for an adult’s emergency contact information upon your first visit. Once you’re in our system, you can use the last 4 digits of your phone number to check in each week. Your entire family can check-in at any of our check-in stations.
4) Bring the proper supplies and leave the toys at home! If your child has a Bible, we encourage them to bring it. If they don’t have one yet, we would love to give them one. Please have your child leave toys or other items at home, as it can be distracting in the classroom and make it harder for kids to stay engaged during the lesson and activities.
5) Follow-up with your child afterwards to reinforce the positive changes with the transition. Try asking them questions such as:
a. How was your worship time today?
b. What was the most fun part of church?
c. What is the name of the one person in your small group?
d. What is one thing that made sense to you about God and the Bible?
e. What interesting story or fact did you hear about today?
