Weekend Services
Parking
Be a part of our visitor's first impression as you direct them to and into our building safely. Serving opportunities are available during both our Saturday night and Sunday morning services.
Tech Team
Providing an environment for worship and the Word of God to be seen and heard. This includes lighting, graphics, stage manager, camera operator, and sound. Training is available!
Greeting
Our Greeter's purpose is to provide a warm and friendly environment and to make everyone feel welcome. Serving opportunities are available during both our Saturday night and Sunday morning services.
Ushering
Our purpose is to help guide people and escort them to seats, tidy up the worship center after service. Be aware of any needs of those in attendance that may come up during service
Hospitality
We oversee the busiest, most popular gathering spot in the church - the refreshment tables! Our mission is to lovingly serve the church through food and refreshments. Our joy is to plate and serve food delivered for each service; prepare coffee and water; and clean up after service.
Blessing Table Food Drop Off
Help our hospitality team provide food for our church! The food that is provided during the weekend services is donated by you. If you are interested in helping us foster community through food, please drop off the food in the kitchen before the service you are planning to attend that day. Please be sure to put your name on what you bring and list any food warnings as it pertains to allergies. No packaging is required! Hospitality ministry will portion out what you bring and clean your dishes!
Next Steps
If you enjoy meeting new people and welcoming new people to church, this ministry is for you! Next Steps is looking for friendly faces who can welcome newcomers to SBCC. We're looking for volunteers who can serve after service.
First Responders
To provide SBCC with trained personnel to adequately respond, evaluate, and remedy a person in need of aid during church services or events. Administer first aid for minor injuries. Evaluate and calm injured people. Coordinate calls and contact 911.
Security
To help provide a safe atmosphere for all those that attend activities at the church. Keep the worship center safe during services and patrol the parking lot/church grounds during events. Assist anyone who might need help in the building and outside the church campus.
Servant's Heart
This "behind-the-scenes" team is a great way to get involved and give back. Our mission is to serve the Lord by cleaning His church. Our duties include all the fun stuff! Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the restrooms, taking out the trash and cleaning windows.
The Well Campus
Set-Up
Set-up team meets every Sunday at 7:30 AM to set up chairs, tables, and A/V equipments. Serving opportunites are available for everyone who attends the 9:00 AM morning services.
Clean-Up
Clean-up team helps every Sunday after the 11:00 AM service to put away chairs, tables, coffee stations, and A/V equipments. Serving opportunites are available for everyone who attends the 11:00 AM morning services.
Coffee Station
Be part of a fun team brewing and serving coffee for both services at The Well! No experience necessary, just a heart to serve fresh coffee.

KidzKrew + Youth
KidzKrew
Our KidzKrew ministry is here to help children love, know, and serve Jesus. KidzKrew is available at each of our Sunday services, and always welcomes more teachers and helpers. Volunteers teach children the truths of who Jesus created them to be and provides a place for each child to have fun and belong.
Special Needs Ministry
KidzKrew Special Needs Ministry helps children with their individual strengths and special needs in our KidzKrew classrooms. Volunteers teach children the truths of who Jesus created them to be and provides a place for each child to have fun and belong.
Middle School Ministry
Middle School Ministry leaders help students love God, love people and become disciples who make disciples. Leaders' responsibilities include helping students to engage in the Word, building relationships through small groups, and encouraging them in their faith.
Middle School Ministry - Fridays from
6:30 to 8:30 pm.
High School Ministry
High School Ministry leaders help students love God, love people and become disciples who make disciples. Leaders' responsibilities include helping students to engage in the Word, building relationships through small groups, and encouraging them in their faith.
High School Ministry - Sundays from 2 to 4 pm.
Care
Prayer
Prayer and intercession are essential in our lives as Believers and vital in our relationship with God. This Ministry actively encourages, uplifts, and serves the church body and communicates confidently and joyfully with God.
This team also serves on a rotational basis to offer prayer for anyone in need at each of our weekend services.
Local Missions
Bay Crest Senior Outreach
Many residents, especially seniors, in skilled nursing facilities feel lonely and abandoned, which gives us an opportunity to meet them with the kindness of Christ! Join our team which meets at various times throughout the week to pray, talk, watch SBCC worship online, read Scripture, and do other activities with the dear residents of Bay Crest Care Center in Torrance. Our goal is to share the gospel or help encourage believers in their walk with the Lord!
Tech for Seniors
The Tech For Seniors Ministry is dedicated to helping our older members stay connected with their church family, loved ones, and the world around them through digital technology.

Housing Support Ministry
The Housing Support Ministry is one of SBCC's newest teams focused on caring for people in our church who are currently in need of housing or at risk of losing their home.
Lifeguard Evangelism
We are all called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! So, please join us as we hand out gospel tracts and invitations to SBCC at Redondo Beach Pier and local parks. Lifeguards are on the lookout to save lives and serve from 11a-1p on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month!
