Meet Our
Senior Pastor
Greg Mah
Hello!
Just in case we've never met, my name is Greg. I was born in Daly City near San Francisco, but I really spent my life growing up in Torrance, CA. My wife Monica and I grew up in the same small church together here in the South Bay, but didn't really get to know each other until we started carpooling back and forth from UC Irvine. From those magical car rides, we eventually married in 2009, and now have three kids- Evan, Karis, and Arineya. When I'm not with the Fab Four, or with the church family, you could probably find me surfing some waves, mountain biking some trail, or playing basketball with old dads who are 40+, have children, and are suffering from at least two chronic injuries. I refuse to play ball with anyone else.
One of the songs that gets me everytime is “God is So Good”. I fight back tears when we get to the chorus, and a lot of that is because of this amazing church that I get to be a part of. Seriously God, I get to do this?! After I finished studying at Talbot Theological Seminary, God allowed me to join the staff here in 2012. I was so thrilled to be part of a church that already had such a good reputation in the South Bay. I loved that the church had a heart to reach the lost and to help followers of Christ love Him even more. And I learned that it wasn’t just a slogan- it was something that proved true through and through in the teaching and the actions of the people here.
God is so good, and I pray that all people will fight to hold back tears when they think about the ways He has been good to them, even in the most challenging moments in life. I pray that my role here will help people in the South Bay and beyond to see what we’ve seen. I pray that when they truly grasp the grace of God upon them, they can’t help but to give Him the rest of their lives. I’m excited to both lead you and come alongside you as we watch God amaze the world with His goodness and grace!
In Christ,
Greg
