As you may have heard, Los Angeles County announced that effective today, March 4, masking at most indoor public settings is no longer required for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. In addition, the Torrance Unified School District has announced that starting Monday, March 14, indoor masking will become optional at all K-12 schools and child care facilities. In keeping with these new guidelines, we will make mask-wearing optional at ALL of our in-person services starting the weekend of March 12-13. This will apply to our indoor and outdoor services, as well as to KidzKrew, and to all of our other ministry gatherings including youth, LifeGroups, men’s, women’s, and prayer, etc.

As we make this adjustment, we want to encourage all of you to continue exercising Christian consideration and sensitivity toward those who may be less comfortable with this change, and who may want to continue to wear a mask. It’s important that we withhold judgment, and be willing to set aside our personal liberties for the sake of unity, even if it means putting on a mask from time-to-time when you sense that a brother or sister in Christ might feel loved by that gesture.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, support and understanding. May God continue to bless you and keep you safe, and may He continue to shine His face on our church!

God Bless You,

Rod Sugiyama
